You spend months waiting for your little one to arrive…years even. Perhaps you’ve imagined being a parent all your life. Then one day - there she is. This precious little baby staring at you and it is surreal. As a parent to one very loved child, I know this feeling well. There are moments when I still have to remind myself that I am in fact a parent and that this beautiful little being sitting before me is my child. It can be an out of body experience.

I want the portraits that I create for you with your new baby to encapsulate every last sensation. I want to pour all of the emotions that come along with being a new parent into your images.

On a warm October day, Ali and Ricky married on the bay in the most unique celebration. Ali made an iconic entrance to their wedding ceremony on a mahogany Grand Craft Boat. The guests gasped as she made her way through the surf to meet Ricky. The partners vowed to share their lives together as they hovered over the water on a dock surrounded by their friends and family.

To say that the ocean is an integral part of their journey together would be an understatement. So, it was only fitting that they honor their newest little love on the beach in Palos Verdes the very next Fall. Quietly, I watched as the new family interacted with each other. They cuddled and adored their new babe and the images from their portrait session are pure joy.
