Have you ever witnessed a Flash Mob?!?!?! Yeah, me neither. Wait, wait, wait…. oh yes I have.

When The Heart Bandits reached out to me to ask if I could photograph a proposal on the Santa Monica Pier - I was already a yes. Then they hit me with the client’s idea to have a dance ensemble execute a Flash Mob on the Santa Monica Pier. I was 200% on board. This flash mob proposal was a complete shock to the bride to be. She was confused… stunned… speechless…overjoyed.

A dance crew was hired for a spontaneous breakout performance right in front of the sweet unsuspecting bride-to-be and it was a thrill to document! About a minute into the performance you can see her wondering what in the world is happening and she spots me with my camera right on her and it hits her… this is ALL. FOR. HER.

Watching this proposal unfold in front of me, with a hundred strangers surrounding the couple - It was unforgettable. Congratulations to the happy couple and their little family unit. What an exciting journey to continue together!
