Rancho Palos Verdes, California Engagement Session

Alejandra & Brandon came down from Seattle, Washington to visit family over Thanksgiving and decided to have their engagement session done while they vacationed. As I got to know the couple, I expressed my undying love for the Pacific North West. And not that I wasn’t thrilled to be photographing them (100% had a blast - they were so cool), but I could think of a million beautiful places to have portraits done up there. Brandon quickly agreed, but said that they weren’t going to get a chance for sunshine back at home for another 6 months. TRUTH.

Sometimes I forget just how lucky Southern Californians are to have Sunshine literally all year long. This session was at the end of November and look at the warm high sun we were able bathe in. Gorgeous. High, harsh sun can be a challenge for photographers, but if done right…ahhhh. It can be so good.
